Part B Permitted Activities

Under Part 2, Chapter 1 of the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2007 certain industrial activities are required to be permitted by the Local Authority. The criteria for this is dependent on the type of activity and the substances emitted and can be categorised into the Part B processes (Air Pollution only) and the Part A2 processes (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control).
