AN exhibition will be open to the public to showcase the excellent shots from the winners of the Tameside through the Seasons calendar competition.
The exhibition will be free to view and open to the public from 30 January until 29 February, at Portland Basin, in Ashton-under-Lyne and residents of Tameside are invited to take a look at the winners shots.
Over the past 12 months, residents of Tameside have been sending photographs of the borough to the Tameside Community Champions in attempt to be featured in the Tameside through the Seasons calendar for 2024.
The Tameside Community Champions received a large number of outstanding shots but had to narrow it down to 12. Each month of the year features a photograph, which represents the season it falls in.
Tameside Council Assistant Executive Member for Culture, Heritage and Digital Inclusivity Cllr Sangita Patel said: “We would like to welcome everyone to come and take a look at the exhibition of the Tameside through the Seasons calendar.
“It gives us a chance to admire the beauty of the borough, which has been kindly captured by our wonderful winners. I would also like to thank everyone who took the time to take a shot and enter the competition.”
To Think Green a downloadable digital version of the 2024 calendar has been made available here.
