Headline sponsors announced for Pride of Tameside Business Awards

THE Pride of Tameside Business Awards are returning with a bang this May, but they would not be possible without the support of some fantastic headline and category sponsors.

The awards, organised by Tameside Council, Tameside Council’s Economy, Employment and Skills team aim to showcase the amazing people and businesses helping to drive the local economy and support the community. This year, Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub and local creative business Visual Architects have already signed on the dotted line to help make the comeback year a truly special event.

Businesses will be able to nominate themselves under one of the following categories:

• Large Business of the Year (51+ Employees)
• SME of the Year (2 – 50 Employees)
• Entrepreneur of the Year
• Creative Business of the Year
• Manufacturer/Engineering of the Year
• Construction/Property Business of the Year
• Childcare/Social Care Business of the Year
• Tech/Digital Business of the Year
• Social Enterprise/CIC/Charity of the Year
• Green Impact Business of the Year

Cllr Jack Naylor, Tameside Council’s Executive Member for Inclusive Growth, Business and Employment said: “We want to get as many Tameside businesses in on the action as possible in a celebration of all the outstanding local enterprise talent and industry leading innovation that goes on across the borough. The awards will give everyone a chance to reflect on their progress, hard work, successes and achievements highlighting the pride and support that we have for our fantastic local business community across all sectors.”
