RESIDENTS impacted by the rising cost of living are encouraged to attend a Helping Hand event where they can receive support and advice from council services and local organisations.
The Helping Hand event at Holy Trinity Community Centre in Ashton will take place on Friday, 2 August, from 10am to 12pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to access a wealth of information and advice on a range of crucial topics including:
Cllr Eleanor Wills, Tameside Council Executive Member for Population Health and Wellbeing, said: "We understand the significant challenges our residents are facing due to the cost-of-living crisis. This Helping Hand event is a concerted effort to bring essential services and resources directly to the community. By providing a one-stop-shop for information and support, we aim to empower individuals and families to navigate these difficult times with confidence and hope."
