Date Released - 23/08/2024

TO celebrate foster carers, Tameside Council organised and hosted a family fun day to give everyone a chance to come together and connect.

Foster Carers, their families and their cared for children from the borough met up on Tuesday 20 August to enjoy a day of fun with a BBQ and activities.

It provided an opportunity for Tameside Council’s Fostering Service to show their appreciation for the foster carers, along with a chance for foster carers and foster children to make positive connections and meet up with the fostering team to ensure they are supported throughout their fostering journey.
