TAMESIDE residents supported long term by Adult Social Care may be randomly selected to complete a national feedback survey.
Each year all councils in England who provide adult social care services have the responsibility to conduct an annual survey. The Adult Social Care Survey (ASCS) is sent by post to a random selection of people who access long-term support from social care and asks them about their experiences. The survey is sent via post from the 27 of January and a free envelope to return is provided; no stamps are needed.
The ASCS is completely anonymous and aims to collect people’s unique feedback on their care and support, helping services to look at where they can improve.
The survey encourages transparency and accountability, making sure people can make better choices about their care and live good lives. The results are used to populate outcome measures in the Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework and informs plans for Tameside Council’s adult services.
Tameside Council Executive Member for Adult Social Care Cllr John Taylor said: ‘’We are listening and the feedback we get really does shape our services. It’s so important that people take the time to respond to this survey, so we know if our services are helping them to live a good life and where we can improve. Thank you to everyone who takes part.’’
The deadline to complete is Friday 14 February 2025 and contact details for support are included in the letter received with the survey.
