Date Released - 04/09/2025

Residents are invited to the annual Autumn Jobs Fair at Dukinfield Town Hall, where they can connect directly with employers and course and training providers.

Tameside Council’s Employment and Skills Team have partnered with Jigsaw Homes, to host a free event on Wednesday 1 October, 10am-1pm, where attendees can discover potential vacancies and upskilling opportunities.

The event aims to bring a range of opportunities into one place and provide tailored support to residents throughout the initial process. Support on offer includes CV advice, job application guidance and interview support, to help residents best secure new positions. This is open to all across Tameside and the wider area.

There will be live vacancies on offer, that attendees can apply for on the day. Opportunities will cover a wide variety of sectors and include both full-time and part-time.

Some of the employers and training providers, including Little Giggles, Active Tameside, Home Instead, Tameside College, and many of Tameside Council’s teams, to be in attendance.

Executive Member for Culture and Lifelong Learning, Cllr Leanne Feeley, said: “Every year the Tameside Jobs Fair delivers excellent opportunities and expert support and advice to our residents. Whether you’re looking for a new role, or to upskill and take on some new training, there is something for everyone.

“The Tameside Jobs Fair is a fantastic chance for residents to have a wide range of opportunities and options, all in one place. We are encouraging everyone to come along and speak with the teams and tap into the great support at the free event.”
