AN OPPORTUNITY to explore support in-person is to be held at Holy Trinity Church in Ashton on Tuesday 18 November, where a range of local services and organisations will be on hand.
This community event, hosted by Tameside Adult Safeguarding Partnership Board (TASPB), runs from 2pm until 4pm. Residents are welcomed to drop-in to talk to over 20 organisations offering information and advice to keep safe and well, including:
Executive Member for Adult Social Care, Cllr John Taylor, said: “By working in partnership, we are bringing support out into our communities for people to access. Please come along to this event to explore what is available to help keep you and your family safe and well.”
This event is held during National Adult Safeguarding Week (November 17-21) and in Tameside organisations are working in partnership to raise awareness of the support available to keep people safe and well.
