Tameside Means Business Annual Net Zero Festival is back for another year, on Friday 5 December 9am-1pm.
The festival, sponsored by Findel, is taking place at The Vale, on Micklehurst Road, in Mossley.
Tameside’s businesses are invited to come along to recognise and celebrate their green achievements as part of the Net Zero Focus.
Supported by Tameside Council and the GM Business Growth Hub and sponsored by Hyde-based Findel, this free event will provide opportunities to take advantage of fully funded offers and peer-to-peer support to help sustainable business growth.
The festival will feature guest speakers, interactive experiences, green business networking and much more to help businesses move forward whilst being part of a collective that makes a positive change for all.
Key speakers will include Green Economy Team, World Heat Cylinders, Tameside Youth Council and Tameside Council new Climate Team.
Tameside Council is working with partner organisations, businesses, and residents to achieve the common goal of being carbon neutral in Greater Manchester by 2038.
Executive Member for Environmental Services and Neighbourhoods, Cllr Laura Boyle, said: “We’re really looking forward to another Net Zero Festival hosted by Tameside Means Business. These events do a fantastic job of encouraging and supporting local businesses in Tameside to operate as sustainably as possible. As we continue working towards becoming carbon neutral by 2038, initiatives like this play a vital role in promoting a cleaner, greener future for Tameside.”
