Tameside small businesses showcase their work

SEVEN new small businesses and social enterprises had the opportunity to host a stall at Tameside Talks Business event.

The Tameside Council Small Business Showcase gave businesses the chance to promote their venture, market their services, and generally shout about their brand.

Hosted at Tameside One, businesses joined on 11 December, as part of a regular series of events.

The day brought together sales insights, product samples, and plenty of networking with fellow local business owners, budding entrepreneurs, and business support organisations.

Attendees commented that the event made them feel like their businesses had finally been brought to life, and others gained new customers.

Tameside Talks Business is a monthly evening networking event organised by the Tameside Libraries Build a Business team in conjunction with Tameside Means Business, GM Business Growth Hub and Action Together, usually on the last Thursday of each month from 4-7pm.

Tameside Council Deputy Leader for Growth, Housing and Homelessness, Cllr Andrew McLaren said: “It’s fantastic to hear that our local small businesses are benefitting from these excellent events. They exist to support, encourage, and help grow local enterprises, so we’re delighted to see them doing exactly that. We want as many businesses as possible to make the most of the events and support available.”
