Godley Green Planning Application

Godley Green planning application (ref:21/01171/OUT) is to be re-considered at the meeting of 18 March 2026 Speaker’s Panel (Planning). Following the Speaker’s Panel meeting in January 2026, where Members resolved to refuse the application against Officers recommendation, a letter of complaint was received from the agent on behalf of the applicant and Made Partnership.  This set out alleged procedural concerns around the January Panel meeting and decision. The full version of that letter is available on the planning portal for the application. Following receipt of that complaint, the Local Planning Authority sought independent legal advice from Kings Counsel on the matters raised in the complaint letter.  Based on that advice, the Local Planning Authority considers that it is reasonably necessary and appropriate for the application to be re-considered at the March meeting of Panel. All relevant parties will be notified by the Local Planning Authority in advance of that meeting. The Panel report will be available five working days before the meeting.
