Parents and carers across Tameside are being invited to share their experiences of support available from pregnancy through to their child’s early years.
Their insights will help shape a new Early Years Strategy being developed by Tameside Council and partner organisations.
The strategy will focus on strengthening support for children and families from pregnancy to age five. It will also outline the changes the Council and its partners aim to deliver, ensuring services work together effectively so every child in Tameside gets the best possible start in life.
To support this work, the Council is asking parents and carers to give feedback on the current support available for young children and families. This input will help identify what is working well and where improvements could be made.
As a thank you for taking part, all respondents will be entered into a raffle to win a £50 voucher of their choice.
Tameside Council Executive Member for Children and Families, Councillor Teresa Smith said: “We want every child in Tameside to have the best start in life, and that begins with listening to the people who know their children best. Parents and carers play a crucial role in shaping early years support, and their feedback will help us design services that truly meet the needs of local families. We encourage everyone to take part and share their experiences.”
The survey is open until Monday 30 March and can be completed at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/D2QKWHX
