PEOPLE in Tameside are invited to a community support event at The Together Centre in Dukinfield, where they can talk to a range of services to keep them safe and well.
Tameside Adult Safeguarding Partnership Board (TASPB) are collaborating with The Together Centre in Dukinfield to host their next community support event on Monday June 15 2026. Between 12noon and 2pm, residents can connect with over 20 services and organisations to find out more about the support available to them and their families.
This includes:
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) takes place on 15 June and TASPB are working in partnership to highlight the day. The event aims to raise awareness and engage residents and professionals with local support to keep them safe and well in Tameside.
Tameside Council’s Executive Member for Adult Social Care, Councillor Jackie Lane, said: ‘’Following the success of previous events, I’m really pleased to say our next community event will be in Dukinfield. All are welcome and I encourage people and professionals to come along and connect with local organisations.’’
Booking is not necessary, people can drop-in between 12noon and 2pm.
