STUDENTS who have successfully completed Tameside ACE (adult community education) courses will be receiving their certificates on Thursday evening (November 23).
The presentation event takes place in the Jubilee Hall, Dukinfield, and all the recipients will have achieved a qualification in IT, maths, English, retail, enterprise or childcare.
Routes to Work, the National Careers Service, New Charter and Hyde Community Action will all be exhibiting at Dukinfield Town Hall to help learners take the next step in finding a job.
Tameside ACE offers courses for people aged 19 and over, including those with additional needs, in employment and skills for life including maths, English, ESOL (English for speakers of other languages), IT, confidence-building and phonics.
Cllr Lynn Travis, Tameside Council’s executive member for lifelong learning, said: “Congratulations to all the learners involved for their great achievements. I’m sure it will be a fantastic night.”
