Councillor Eleanor Wills, Tameside Council’s Executive Member for Health and Wellbeing said:

‘’With the cost of living rising at alarmingly increasing rates, the Helping Hand Tameside drop-in is the perfect opportunity for all residents to get advice and support in one place if they’re struggling with day to day costs.

‘’This event is the perfect opportunity for everyone to explore the support we have available in the borough. If you’ve never felt like you’ve needed the support before but you are struggling now, please attend and see what services can assist you. Helping Hand doesn’t only direct people to local support services to help with finance, housing and employment but also mental health and wellbeing services. Both of which I think go hand in hand and mental health and wellbeing should never be neglected.’’

The drop-in is for all Tameside residents and will have information pamphlets and in-person advice for those who struggle to get online.
